Dr. David Gibbs Jr. is an American attorney, author, and prominent itinerant speaker best known as the Founder and President of the Christian Law Association (CLA). He established the legal ministry in 1969 to provide free legal counsel and defense to Bible-believing churches and Christians facing government regulation or religious liberty obstacles.

Under his leadership, the CLA has defended Christian liberties for decades, representing thousands of churches and individuals across all 50 states. Dr. Gibbs “defends Bible-believing churches and Christians who are experiencing difficulty in practicing their religious faith because of governmental regulation, intrusion, or prohibition”

Beyond his legal work, he is widely recognized in independent Baptist circles for his powerful oratory skills and biblical knowledge. He frequently speaks at major events like the Spiritual Leadership Conference and preaches at local churches nationwide.
